Ferrying the Heart
One ferries from sea to sea
bringing nothing but a presence,
for the water itself, one that’s rich
with stories of sailing roughly
and reaching faraway ports,
is enough to freshen the heart.
The waves lull a tired spirit
to have a respite from the chaos.
The wind that blows strongly
that rocks and tumbles the boat
are incomparable to the love
that he brings to her ashore.
